Used to be a great place to have my car looked at, but since Tim left I have been disappointed several times in the last few months. Simple jobs take much longer than other shops and labor is $150/hr. Additionally, most of the mechanics working there are young and inexperienced, so much that the new manager has had to step in to do the job for them each time. got 4 brand new tires today for the winter, i got home around 4 and was about to go somewhere around 6:30. i walk outside and realized my car seemed a little tilted... turn on the outside lights and 2 of the 4 tires are COMPLETELY flat. i call the place and told him what happened. his reaction, "well what did you do?" Seemed arrogant and tried to say i did something to them. Overall that is the reason i will no longer go here.
I brought my 2004 Ford Expedition to Merlin's for an oil change, and to find out what is causing random vibration and drag. They changed to oil, and gave me a quote for over $1200 to replace everything brake related: Disc Rotors, Pad's, Calibers, Hose Lines, and Master Cylinder. I told them I will have to think about this, and asked them to put it back together.
