Great vet for sheep! Dr. Merkle is a great vet for sheep, he gives practical, affordable care and advice for sheep management. Yearly vaccinations for our flock are only about $8 - $9, and he gave us an EASY, cheap way to worm the sheep using horse wormer in tubes; Cottonwood Vet Clinic previously sold us about $200 worth of meds that are utterly impossible to administer. WE TOOK OUR DOG INTO DR. MERKLE FOR A SKIN PROBLEM AFTER TAKING HER TO ANOTHER VET THAT COULDNT DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM; HE STARTED WITH THE BASIC ANTIBIOTIC AND NAILED IT ON THE HEAD. OUR OTHER VET WANTED TO RUN SKIN GRAFTS, TESTS, ETC. AND BASICALLY CHARGE US A LOT OF MONEY FOR NOTHING. HE IS VERY GOOD WITH OUR DOG AND IMAGINE HE IS VERY GOOD WITH ALL ANIMALS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.

A FRIEND REFERRED HIM TO ME, ALTHOUGH THE LOCATION OF HIS OFFICE WAS OFF THE BEATEN PATH. I VALUED MY FRIENDS OPINION AND DROVE OUT TO THE COUNTRY TO SEE HIM. THE REASON FOR THE VISIT TO UPDATE MY DOGS VACCINATIONS AND A GENERAL HEALTH CHECK UP. THE TOTAL BILL FOR SHOTS AND THE CHECK UP WAS AROUND $50.00.
