Just a couple examples here. It has been a nightmare dealing with the home warranty with Meritage. Water leaked into the top of our window and they said that this is not covered by the warranty. Make sure you get an inspection and make sure they fix this kind of thing before you sign your life away. Update: I did call the Meritage orlando customer service line 48 hours ago, left a voicemail. I still haven’t received a callback. Willing to update the review if my issue is addressed.
Please steer clear of Meritage Homes! The houses looked nice, the representatives were very helpful and informative during the tours. However, after going through the process with their finance company I was informed that I did not qualify for the house that I wanted. We tried again for a house that was less expensive and due to some unfortunate circumstances, they determined that I did not qualify for that house either. Not only are these ppl. Scamming home buyers the address listed are also a scam no results show up as you try and report them to the BBB addresses not found. And they wonder why people lose ot and hunt them down & ...... the function ppl gotta pay for this B.S.
