Super cheap builds. Cheap paint and they cut a ton of corners. We find many trim and cabinet defects with this builder and their warranty service is terrible.
Bought a Meritage house in Melissa. Once moved in had nothing but issues in dealing with the local manager. He never finished completing the walk-thru. Had only 30 days to complete so he delayed or pushed the fix on me. Frustrating. Then when went to Meritage Warranty, they also tried to avoid responsibility pushing off to their subcontractors/vendors who went back and forth on who to blame.
