I told them specifics about my heating problem, and they sent someone who was unfamiliar with my admittedly antiquated heating system. He spent an hour just looking around but didn’t actually do anything. He guessed at what the problem might be (he was incorrect) and wanted to come back with a different guy but they didn’t show up for the next time we scheduled. At that point I went with someone else who took care of it quickly. Now I just got a bill for $200 for doing literally nothing.
This is the company to use if you do NOT WANT to get ripped off. I have reached out to Merit 2 times within the past 6 months on different issues and they have come through for me both times. I feel they treat your repair as they would with their own home and are not intentionally trying to make a profit on someone. I find them trustworthy and very professional in what they do. If they can't get you in right away, I would hang in there, they are worth the wait!
