I went in nauseated dizziness muscle spasms from head to toe… they got blood work ekg chest cray an I’ve placed with the order to receive fluid, they stated that I was dehydrated they didn’t give me the fluids, they pushed Ingram one time and gave me an oral Valium… oh and the NP stated that I might have a virus because my WBCwas slightly elevated, but it’ll push through my system on its own…now I’m out of work and getting ready to go to another ER… d/t y’all being short staffed which was said to me… 8 hrs and this guys tell... read more
Staff was alert & ready. Dr was nice. The BP cuff was not connected to the vitals and telemetry unit for my 2-hour observation. Wasted time! No one even checked on me. One nurse disconnected the telemetry & BP for me to give urine sample. She never came back, so Dr had to plug me back up (w/o no cuff). Can u get a true telemetry record w/o the BP? Clean & pleasant. I had a very good experience at River Oaks ER. The nurses were very helpful and friendly. They were checking on me every few minutes and made me feel like I was there only patient. I had several test and got answers to all of my questions. I met several doctors and a new cardiologist that I will follow up with. I spent the night in the ER as they did not have any beds available upstairs. The nurses made me as comfortable as I could be laying in that bed.
