I went in having fever for 5 days up and down. They did a Covid & flu test and it was negative. Did a chest xray and it was good. So they said it was something viral. (Mind you they didn’t draw any labs or urine culture to dig deeper) so I went to a second doctor who did all that and come to find out I had a bacterial infection. So they misdiagnosed me. Had to come due to a bad animal bite requiring emergency medical attention. Surprisingly, it was more quiet and empty than I expected. Thankfully. No way could I have managed the 20+ hour wait in UMC ER. Very thankful to have River Oaks still. Hoping Merit will keep the Rankin hospital open as well. We need them! Thank you for the great care
This is the most dreadful place I promise if I fail out in front of this place I will be getting someone to take me to St. Dominics.
