I recently visited the ER due to severe chest pain (pain level 8). I initially thought it might be acid reflux. I was seen within 30 minutes, which I appreciated. Once in a room, they did an X-ray and gave me medication to test if it was reflux-related. After an hour with no improvement, they gave me a painkiller and sent me home.
