I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share this experience. Around 12:00 a.m., I visited Merritt with a few friends. We all ordered bakery items and received them shortly afterward. I ordered a Pop-Tart pastry, and while eating it, I bit into a blue shard of glass that was inside the pastry. The glass cut the inside of my cheek. I immediately brought the item back to the barista. Her response was simply, “That’s not supposed to be there,” and she stated it may have come from the Lorraine pastries. Macha is one of my favs in SA, I love merit
I come here to work for my remote job. I love it. The baristas are extremely nice. One barista even went out of his way to bring my coffee to my table. The atmosphere is great and I love the craftsmanship on every drink. I also love how it’s not chaotic. As for Starbucks or any fast coffee chain, the atmosphere gets loud and obnoxious.
