Gabriel has taken a sizable amount of money from me and in 9 weeks has performed about 7 days of work. This is work that I have determined he is not licensed to perform. He has lied to me countless times. It is impossible for me to convey how poor the quality is. He is dangerous because he is smooth and articulate. He is completely unqualified in every way . I contracted for them to complete the renovations and was informed that the work will be completed within 2 weeks. It has been three and a half Months. He spent the money and didn't order and pay for many of the materials such as the shower door and cabinets. I personally had to pay the door company to install the door. He left a lot of work not finished and made several promises he didn't keep. I couldn't find an active business license or insurance information on this company. I’m only giving this company 1 star because it made me. Long story short, I filled out a job request online. Gabriel from Merin Construction responded immediately. I thought that was a good sign but it went down hill from here. I paid what Gabriel wanted to complete the job and set up a day to do the work. That was the only day they showed, however all they did was remove two pieces of siding and they never returned. Now I they have stolen $400.00 and 2 pieces of siding causing my home to be exposed to the elements for weeks... read more

Anyone looking for roofers, by all means avoid Merin Construction. It took them 3 weeks to do my roof. My house is 1200 square feet, 11/12 pitch. This is what they left me with. This is a $7500 roof job. Henry Jr has promised me many times he was coming back to make things right but all I get is excuses. Not one time did he have his A team on my job, they never showed up before 11:00.
