I made this booking at the last minute while driving down from Sydney to Melbourne, as poor weather forced me to stay overnight in Merimbula. I chose the Merimbula Gardens Motel because it was very reasonably priced and within walking distance from the airfield. The room was charming and comfortable, with a classic old-style feel that added to its character. Everything was spotless, tidy, and well organised.
