Republic services refurbished used bicycles to then give them away for free. I guess it's a program through the city of Meridian and though I don't live in Meridian since I was still in Ada county I qualified. How freaking awesome is that! I filled out the form a few weeks ago and then they texted me to come and pick up my bike. I signed a waiver and they met me at the gate. My bicycle had my name on it and everything! Says open til 5:00pm Saturday, but was not. Loaded and entire truck drove there and gate was already closed at 4:30!

Update your hours on your website! There was a line at the gate Saturday at 3pm because you guys failed to adjust your hours. So frustrating.
I’ve used this transfer station a few times over the years. The location is certainly convenient if you live in north west meridian. I did feel like the price to dump a load went up this year (like every thing else I guess) I do appreciate that they have a recycling center on the front lot. I’m opening an office and had lots of boxes I wanted to recycle not through away.
