I have been a Meridian customer for over 15 years but my recent experience has really got me considering alternative options. They made a mistake that cost me close to $1000 and the only thing I got in return was we will use this as a teaching opportunity for our financial advisors so it doesn’t happen again. I would highly caution you triple check all paperwork with them to avoid similar issues.
I was a bit hesitant to visit the branch after reading reviews, but honestly—wow! Hellen and Caitlin made me feel right at home. Friendly, smiling, and just as chatty as I am, we completely lost track of time while opening my account—professionally, of course. Bonus: they’re offering a 4.7% rate right now! It got me thinking… why do we usually choose banks that care more about their own interests than ours? Go see for yourself—you might just leave with a smile and a great rate.
This useless branch and the lazy people staffing it caused me untold grief and inconvenience. I called ahead to say I needed to make a larger cash withdrawal to pay a deadline payment on that day. Not only did they not answer the phone 3 times I called, they also didn't check their messages and therefore did not return my call to inform me they don't issue any cash as this is an "advice only branch" I learned when I arrived. The last time I went to this location it was not a full service branch. I wanted to get Canadian $$ exchanged for US, they said they dont offer that service so I had to go to the exchange on the lower level of the mall. I dont understand why you would put a branch with limited services-I was so happy that they finally put a Meridian branch near to my home-now not so happy. Please provide full banking services at this location
Review isn't for this branch, but I had Real good experience with Meridian travel Visa card. Their insurance and customer service are awesome. Highly recommend
