Terrible experience trying to withdraw money from my own TFSA. My TFSA is in ETFs yet they say it will take a week to get my money out. They use Aviso wealth and their websit has constant issues. I found it easier to move my savings to another institution and then withdraw it.
I wanted to purchase a substantial CD,The financial advisor wanted to know what other investments I had in other banks,I told him im not comfortable in disclosing that information,He replied he couldnt move forward in the purchase of the CD with out me diclosing ALL my other investments,Read the reviews of this Bank.Dont walk RUN from this place,Do not recomend...
The staff of the bank is highly incompetent. Unfortunately, I deposited a draft of a slightly handsome amount. Meridian branch staff Insisted me to put the hold for 5 days. I explained you can't put a hold because it is not a cheque. You can always verify the bank that issues the draft. The staff does not know how to contact the TD branch and get it verified. I called the TD Bank that issued and draft and got the fax number for Meridian. In the evening when I called Meridian and inquired, I was told that TD hadn't responded.... read more
Never ever use this branch. The advisors they hire have been incredibly unhelpful. Since joining, I have had 5 different ones and they all seem to leave the organization. Currently trying to move my funds, but my current advisory wants nothing to do with it. He was so pleased to tell me I made money, but when I told him how much I had lost previous he was dumbfounded. They wanted me to invest more ..... when I said no, I am ghosted. We have tried faxing 3 different times and several calls.....to no avail. Anyone have any ide... read more
