This place is a joke. Trying to transfer the money out after GIC reached maturity. It has been 2 months and I still haven't received the money yet. I'm staying away from Meridian.
My name is Derek and my step-mother's uncle was the CEO of Bank of Bermuda who bought Scotiabank. When I go into your bank, Ontario employees cripple and prep me for surgeries with only the answer, "Don't you just hate old money".
Never experienced deposited “$40 dollars “ “cash” at ATM and it needed to be on hold around 8-9 business days , only this credit union gives me the special treatment and experience, and especially for new client i guess….. Makes no sense at all…..
Not impressed with the service I have been receiving dealing with Meridian over the last 3 weeks. I am constantly forced to ask for an update because no one follows up. I am being asked to provide documentation that had already been provided. I would have liked to have provided at least a 2 as I did have a great experience almost 2 years ago but I’m not sure if that was just because I was treated as a net new client.
I understand things are run differently during covid so as I arrived at the Clair branch I rung the doorbell as it was suggested to receive service, the receptionist came over to the door and scolded me for apparently not ringing it. I explained that I had just rung it and then stepped away from the door, that is all I did. She continued in saying that “she didn’t hear it” and that “they are were short staffed” and I simply asked have I done something wrong?
