I wouldn't recommend this place unless it's a last resort, to be honest. My thirteen year old son was admitted here a few weeks ago and I signed him out three days later as soon as I could. I gave two stars instead of one because the mood stabilizer he is on is helping a little besides side effects we have to discuss at med management. And the doctors and nurses update you on his treatment plan through phone calls. So I will give them credit for that. When I went to visit him, however, I was concerned. (Please take the time to read this) I don’t usually don’t do reviews unless someone asks for them but I really need to voice my concerns about this facility so no one won’t have to go through the same horrible experience I did and possibly get to the next step in having this facility shut down. My 99 year old Aunt has a 35 year old grandson who was threatening to kill her. I called 911 and the police Baker Acted him. He was taken to Meridian He was extremely manic. I was called the next day from a Ms Rossin asking me what had happened. I told her all of the details of his threats to hurt me and kill his grandmother( whom he lived with) and she seemed very concerned and told me that they would start him on some medication but they needed me to sign a consent form to make him take the medication. They say if you don’t have something nice to say don’t say nothing at all been here since the 28th, and this will be my last weekend there Monday,I often didn’t feel like I was treated with respect by the staff especially the new nurse Marvineisha, and Troy who was training her. I’ve been to other clinics, and never really had problems, but this clinic is very much so extra. Double booked my daughters therapy appointment and failed to tell us until after we drove the 45 minutes there. Waste of time and waste of gas.
