I normally go to Newcastle baths but ventured to Merewether recently. There is almost no shade anywhere. The place is starting to feel quite run down. For hot summer days it would be a real positive to have some shaded areas for people that don't sunbathe. If you go in the afternoon you can hide by the ramps for some shade.
