She was very scattered when discussing specific issues and interrupted me multiple times as I tried to explain my symptoms, which was stressful. I don’t have much medical vocabulary, but never before had a Mount Sinai doctor said to me, ‘I can’t do this, why didn’t you look for a doctor who spoke your language?’ I was shocked by how rude and unprofessional that was, and it discouraged me from wanting to see her again.
Dr. Halpern has been my doctor for a long time. She’s excellent and has helped me through all stages of care with the kindest, most personalized touch. Love her.
My first time with Dr. Halpern, I was very impressed. She is professional and engaging, which made me very comfortable. Highly recommend.
