A very expensive vet visit to be told my dog was just overweight and needed to loose weight, sold me on the expensive vet food. She didn’t believe me he was having seizures, the front desk staff said maybe the shaking is the extra weight on his joints. Keep in mind he ran 14km with me the week before, this week he’s shaking because he’s so fat? He got considerably worse over the weekend and ended up in the emergency vet in Nanaimo. Dr Carol Champion and the clinics front- & back team were very compassionate and caring when we had to make the tough decision to have our husky dog go to sleep forever. The lady at the reception even offered me a full box of Kleenex when she saw me crying. Starsky’s ashes came back today in a beautiful cedar urn. This may not be the happiest review but we felt taken care of by the whole team.
