This ER is a joke, I would rather be in pain than come back to this ““HOSPITAL””
Amazing nurses, doctors, & staff.
I was honestly very hesitant to come here due to the low ratings. My daughter has a very complex medical history and normally we drive to Iowa City for care. I’m so glad we came here instead and am beyond happy with the care my daughter had received. The staff was fantastic and the nurse practitioner we saw in the ER was very thorough. Communication between the provider and my daughter’s specialists’ in Iowa City was better than I could have hoped also and I was told exactly where we were with finding answers. Do not go here unless you absolutely have to. My husband and I had a terrible experience at this ER. I’m giving two stars solely for the kindness of the first nurse and the doctor. The doctor, while he had no sense of urgency, did not keep us updated, and frequently told us ‘fifteen more minutes’ (which turned into hours), he was still kind. We were there for six hours. After our original nurse left, we were not checked on or updated, aside from the doctor briefly stopping in. I do want to give credit to our first nurse and ... read more
