I established care with Dr. Kikuta at MercyOne in early 2024 for ongoing treatment. Despite a 10+ year history with this diagnosis and medication, the clinic mishandled a routine prior authorization for my medicine for over 3 months. 6+ PA requests were denied due to repeated incomplete or incorrect documentation by staff. I was never clearly informed of the documentation needed, and there was zero communication. I’ve never seen somebody completely bend a needle into somebody leg while giving a shot until I took my 5 year old son here. they goof ahh knew they messed up and was in such a rush to exit the room they failed to provide my son privacy and exited the room while my son pants were at his ankles .

First visit with Dr Hadlock went okay. It was afterwords, when we were trying to get something through insurance, that we had an issue. Zero communication. Anytime you call they send you to a triage nurse, no matter how clearly you ask them not to. The other Dr I saw completely ignored the reason for my visit and wanted to only talk about referring me to a specialist. We went in because my daughter needed lab test done. The receptionist could not find her information in the system and kept asking us if we were a new patient. We have used their services all her life and this is the only clinic we ever went to. She was not welcoming and had a terrible attitude. This continued as we went to the lab and checked in. Would recommend always double checking bills from MercyOne. Every time my husband has had a yearly physical they bill us for the full amount (showing insurance discount), if we pay it they send a refund back in the mail (because physicals are covered 100%). Last time we contacted the billing department and had to argue the bill. They ended up crediting the amount. It’s frustrating and their processes are completely out of date. We will be looking into other options.
