I've read so many negative comments that it really surprises me. I've been in urgent care a few times and in the hospital 3 in the last 4 years and have always been well taken care of. The wait time has never been more than 10 minutes to be seen in urgent care and thoroughly tested for whatever the problem was. The nurses ( except one ) and doctors have always been friendly and efficient.
Friendly staff, the rehab dept. is spot on. They have a nice program
The wait is insane for the urgent care and appointments too, you're looking at 3 hours for the urgent care no matter the situation and depending on the nurses day apparently it seems. The birth center also isn't a place I recommend to give birth at all, not all but most nurses and doctors aren't nice.
The only reason this isnt a negative number is there was one nurse in the ER who paid attention to what my wife was saying, we seemed like an imposition to the rest of the staff. Nobody came to help when my wife was throwing up due to the Morphine, I had to hold her in a position she could puke with one arm and hold the bucket with the other. I would like to say thank you to the ER staff tonight. The team at Mercy where so professional, quick thinking and great bedside manner. My son was having a severe allergic reaction and they saved his life. Thank you for doing what you do.
