I went in around 11 am and was out of the office by 1145. The staff was friendly, doctor was a little cut and dry. They sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy. But I called and let them know and they quickly fixed the issue. Not a bad experience.
2nd time having to use this urgent care. 2nd time leaving due to wait times. Pregnant wife with stomach pains and vomiting clearly wasn't urgent enough to warrant care. If you have an issue, go somewhere else. Also if you claim short staff in response to this, you're a joke. Maybe drop one of the bums sitting behind the check in desk to pay for another nurse. Also, we're the only ones here in the lobby and have been for 2 hours. No influx of patients.
Just do not. Absolutely ridiculous waiting time. 3 hours to see a meh provider in their “urgent care” area- which is also their emergency department. God forbid anyone checks in here when they have an actual emergency- you may as well drive an hour or three to a different location with a proper urgent care that has an online check in. Or better yet- nix MercyCare altogether and get insurance that covers Aurora and/or ProHealth. This place is a joke.
If you want to go to a place where doctors don’t take you seriously then this is the place for you. The doctor talked to my finance like he was stupid. Very condescending. My fiancé could also hear the doctor saying rude things about him to the other workers at the nurses station. No one should be treated that way. Especially at a health care facility! Absolutely ridiculous!
They’ve taken really good care of my dad every time we’ve had to use them when we’re here visiting from UT
