The estimated 6 minute wait time on the sign is 100% legitimate. I filled out new patient paperwork & was called back the instant it was finished. The tech quickly got my vitals & info & the doctor came in 5 minutes later. My new patient appointment took roughly 30 minutes total. Fantastic!
I wouldn’t even give them a one star if that was an option. Every time I have went in staff acts as if you are an inconvenience to them. I wasn’t even told what was wrong with me. After days I still have the same symptoms I had when I went in and my eyes are swelling. But yet they couldn’t even give me a diagnosis. I told them I was concerned about my heart rate due to it reading so high at home. I watched the nurse put the oximeter on my finger and it read a continuous 120. Unlike other convenient care centers, Mercy is a place that doesn't have a long wait period (from the time you walk in until you see a provider), the professionals do a more in depth illness work up on their patients (compared to MEC). I took my littles to MEC (due to Mercy being closed on Sundays) and then had to take them to Mercy a couple of days later. Mercy is by far the best place!
Submitted BOTH of my insurance information to them and they refuse to bill my secondary insurance. They accept Cigna employer insurance and ChampVa but yet they haven't sent them the EOD to get their payment. Your company needs to follow protocol and bill the insurance properly! I've already met my deductible and the copays are handled directly within the two insurance companies. Sending someone to collections because you failed to do the proper protocol is ridiculous!
