My son was born aft 13 hours of induced labor which was awful. I had contractions all morning they made me stay all night and switch positions overly and over but didn’t break my water until morning. Nathaniel wanted out that night. He spent 24 hours in our room a nurse took him to nicu where they have him morphine and we spent two weeks there feeding tubes and they said he was having withdrawal syndrome even though the umbilical chord test came negative. Can't really recommend this NICU over OU Medical and St Anthony. Nurse staff isn't very friendly to parents and doesn't seem like they wanted us here. Originally came in for a breathing problem but that was resolved yet they still had us here for "failure to eat" because they wanted her to eat 50ml every 3 hours. Reason it gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the 2 nurses that went above and beyond for my child. All of the other nurses we worked with seemed to just be getting by until shift change and weren't really fans ... read more
