One of the worst places to go for mental health crisis. Staff are friend... sometimes. But Dr doesn't take anything you say as if he's of superior knowledge and shouldn't be questioned. They overly push pills on to young people who are just either looking for anxiety/depression treatment that make the fill there own prescription outside there own clinic that can prescribe you.. constantly belittle you when you advocate for yourself . Went in to the ER lastnight to been seen for what turns out to be a respiratory infection (thanks to the great service at unitypoint health-finley hospital) and the woman running the desk was just down right rude, never had such shitty customer service from somewhere that is supposed to help you, I ended up walking out and my husband took me to Finley hospital ER and they were so kind and helpful and didn't make me feel like a burden.
Absolutely worst ER service ever. Waited over 5 + hours to be seen. This hospital leadership should be audited.
The doctors and nurses here saved my life and made my stay so very comfortable. They also made sure I had all the tools I needed after my release from the hospital to help with my depression diagnosis. Clean, welcoming facilities. Highly recommend.
