Took my wife their for heart problems we were treated so rudely by the nurses after she was admitted we left
I had a really bad allergic reaction on vacation in Dubuque and ended up at MercyOne. The doctors, nurses, CNA’s, and front desk staff all went above and beyond to take care of me and keep me as comfortable as possible. I felt I received top notch care and compassion and was very impressed with my experience. Thank you so much to Dr. Zettek & Dr. Gudenkauf and my nurses Cassie and Ellie. I appreciate all your hard work and care.

Took my mom to the ER last night because she was having chest pains. It was a long wait to be seen, but worth it. The nurse, Dylan, took care of my mom and noticed her oxygen was low. He kept checking in on her. The doctor she had was nice. She was so concerned about my mom that she recommended that she stayed overnight. Best care my mom has gotten in a long time at any hospital. Thank you Mercy One staff.
Worst care that we received. Took my 4 month in for a cold/wheezing and was told his ears were clear and he sounded fine. Next day he saw pediatrician and diagnosed him with ear infection and that he needed breathing treatments. Don’t know how Dr. Gudenkauf missed this but will not see her again. Then she made a remark how she’ll be seeing us more often as my son does not have his vaccines. She was very rude I felt like she didn’t care and was just there for her paycheck.
