I miss the old Mercy. I waited for over 4 hrs for updates on my mom in post op. Each hour I walked to the nurses station and got different answers. None satisfying and each passing hour it became clear that their process has no advocate or champion for the patient or their family. This place is like a ghost town of forgotten toys.
Small and quite clean
My grandma was recently on the telemetry unit. She received good care from most of her nurses and doctors, but we also had a rough experience with one of the nurses. After 45 minutes of waiting for an RN (after shift change Tuesday night), I was told that my grandma's agitation was not urgent or an emergency, and that we (family) were making her anxiety worse by coming out to the nurse's station to ask for assistance.
