Came to the ER because I needed a surgery done. The check in process was very easy, but once I got to the ER, it’s like they just threw me in a area and forgot about me half the time. The area they put me in had a broken TV. The nurses i had were very nice so that’s why I’m giving 3 stars. They took my blood and made me feel comfortable. But then they would leave me alone for hours and not check up on me. I was there since 8:30am and even after 5pm I still didn’t receive any breakfast/lunch. Everyone says "no one writes good reviews when things go right, they just move on with their lives," but I think Mercy deserves a good review. Went the the (fairly empty) ER just after midnight on a Fri, and was out of there by 3pm after an emergency surgery. I already had an idea of what the problem was, so I think that helped speed things along, but everyone was great during all the processes. I’ve been coming to Mercy for all my emergency visits. They are amazing ! I love all the doctors and nurses. They take care of my health so well and treat me amazing.
I was involved in a tbone accident last Tuesday and was taken to the Mercy hospital emergency room. I expected to be in the ER for quite some time as I’m familiar with how ER’s work however what I wasn’t expecting was to be treated so cautiously and with such empathy and compassion by the wonderful nurses, admins, doctors, and even the lady who made sure my area was clean. Es el peor lugar donde puedes ir hay unas enfermera que te tratan con desprecio casi muero en ese lugar la nestecia no me hizo efecto y sentí todo lo que me estaban haciendo me hicieron una operación lumbar e quedado con mucho trauma jamás volvería a ese lugar…
