My youngest was misdiagnosed. He had aspiration so everytime he took a bottle it was mainly going straight to his lungs. I was being told I was feeding him the wrong way and I don't know how to hold a baby 🤷♀️. Plus when he was having a mild allergic reaction his primary was on vacation and the other doctor was refusing to see him. I had to fight for my son to be seen instead of paying 1,000 towards a hospital bill.. never going back and would never recommend.
Dr. Rashmi Shekahawat is the WORST possible doctor, she doesn't care at all about her patients and well being!!! My son has severe asthma and allergies and I moved out of state to better that. I found a place and found out it had roaches. I asked her for a letter stating my son allergies and the dangers of being around roaches. She's refusing bc she hasn't seen him all year. Why would I put my son in danger when nothings wrong with him at all for a visit when so many people are catching COVID going to the doctors. So now im ... read more
Glad to hear Dr. Akbar is no longer there. He and his nurse practitioner missed the fact that my daughter not only has SEVERE GERD to which I saw them MULTIPLE times about and was told she was fine but she has a heart murmur and a hole in her heart. Cleveland Clinic diagnosed her immediately and had her in with a pediatric heart doctor in 2 days. Will never take my daughter back to Mercy. Not only has my daughter had horrible care but I have personally as well. Worst hospital hands down
The doctors are great, but the nurses and secretaries are the most disrespectful people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting.
