Springfield Regional sent me home to die. 8 came to Enon later that day and I was treated with respect and concern. They listened to my concerns and addressed them. Thanks to them I am feeling better

I had a traumatic fall on my wedding day and blew my knee out. I went to Mercy knowing it was the “faster” option, but was truly horrified at the lack of care I received. The nurse who initially took vitals and assessed me was kind, I’ll give her that, but did not properly provide care for me. I reported severe pain in my leg and was not offered an ice pack, elevation, literally anything. No wait time at 2:45 am. The interviewing nurse was a little bit snippy responding to my answers but at 3am what do you expect when you don’t answer the questions well. Given medication and sent in my way. When I needed to switch my pharmacy a few hours later immediate’ action was taken. The entire staffed wished me well walking out and the doctor gave clear instructions.
