I told them at check in what I needed for my 4 year old daughter. They brought her back to a room and charged me $1700 then said they couldn't treat her because she was too little and sent us to Children's. I feel swindled. They should not have brought us to a room knowing they wouldn't treat her.
Horrible horrible horrible! I was there 7hrs for having serious issues and they told me I wasn’t even having issues. And completely ignored my signs and symptoms. This place is a joke and if you are really having an actual emergency do not come here.
My father came in because he swallowed a fish bone. It was lodged in his throat and even made him spit up blood. Waited 3 hours in the emergency room. One nurse or intern told my dad to eat something to try to get it to go down...my thoughts were well what if it tears his stomach up or lodges out the other end? He tried but that didn't work. They kept recommending things to do to try to get it down but we kept telling the staff they need to use something to go in after it. After 3 hours in the ER then they finally moved him ... read more
I had the unfortunate ambulance ride to Anderson Mercy Hospital ER on April 16,2025, with severe pain on the left side of my back with nausea. After waiting for some time I was put into a room. I was hooked up to a monitor, very high BP. I wasn't seen by a doctor, just a PA. He pounded on my back and it took my breathe away. He ordered a CT scan with contrast of my kidney/abdomen.
