This is a review for the Mercy ER. My son was treated there in July '11 and the ER physicians and nurses were top notch with their diagnosis and treatment of his condition. The one and only complaint we have is the front desk staff. The young girl( and only person at the desk ) that worked there was very rude when asked a few questions and also when we came back in a couple weeks later for an insurance paperwork request. After Living in the area and meeting numerous peolpe this hospital was not also poor for me but to many others and they dont know how to treat their employees. After numerous exams done here in the xray department they were read improperly their radiologist never reads the old films and my doctor has had them sent elsewhere for reading, I have had to have exams repeated at other hospitals. my husband was treated there on May 31st 2008 the best care you could ask for. the staff is very caring and took excellent care of him they rock
