I was scheduled for a colonoscopy with Dr. Kapil Chopra on January 5, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. I received prep instructions on December 30, picked up the prescription, completed the full bowel prep, and took time off work as instructed. I arrived at the facility one hour early and was already parked when I received a phone call from the anesthesiologist canceling the procedure because my echocardiogram was not recent enough.
