I would give this ED a 5 star but the only issue is that when you checking out and verifying your information, it is done out in the main lobby. You are asked for personal information such social security number, address, and other things. Privacy is very important in healthcare and that collection of information shouldn’t be performed in the main lobby in front of other patients and whomever else is in the lobby. I went to the ER on 10/29 after slipping and falling on my front steps. They are cement and my back came down on the edge. I was very sick to my stomach and in pain. My sister drove me there. A kind woman came out to the car and got me in a wheelchair. The check in was quick and friendly. All the medical staff was kind and attentive. I really liked the woman who took me for X-rays and CT and the nurse who initially was in my room. Although EVERYONE did a great job. Turns out I fractured my lower spine. I want to thank the staff and providers, that took care of me, on 10/27/25. I was kind of scared, as a lot was going on. Everyone was so nice and you can tell, truly cared for you. I just wanted you all to know you showed the Mercy Touch. I would not go anywhere else. Everyone put me at ease.
Where to start.... okay so I went in for my knee, I had twisted wrong when throwing a stick and both me AND my friends heard the pop my knee made before I fell, well when I tell the nurse this, you could tell she wasn't taking me serious. She didn't offer anything for the pain, she didn't offer me a blanket, she even had the audacity to ask me 'Are you sure the pain in a 10 out of 10? 10 being thd worst pain?' I said yes.
