Would you like to be treated terribly after having a horrific experience happen and knowing that you tore your rotator cuff? Then this is the place to come. If you want to have zero help and be accused of not being in pain when you have horrific vitals and can hardly move. This is the place. Not only was I treated like garbage, but I was also told that since I was able to go to work for part of the day and then come in that I was fine. The staff was extremely unprofessional, and didn’t take medical issues seriously. Not only that but they laughed at my family members discomfort, and spoke to her spouse instead of her directly. It was very rude and disrespectful. What a degrading way to treat someone who is earnestly looking for help. Such a disgraceful, and disappointing experience. My family and I will most certainly not be back.
I would give this ED a 5 star but the only issue is that when you checking out and verifying your information, it is done out in the main lobby. You are asked for personal information such social security number, address, and other things. Privacy is very important in healthcare and that collection of information shouldn’t be performed in the main lobby in front of other patients and whomever else is in the lobby. I went to the ER on 10/29 after slipping and falling on my front steps. They are cement and my back came down on the edge. I was very sick to my stomach and in pain. My sister drove me there. A kind woman came out to the car and got me in a wheelchair. The check in was quick and friendly. All the medical staff was kind and attentive. I really liked the woman who took me for X-rays and CT and the nurse who initially was in my room. Although EVERYONE did a great job. Turns out I fractured my lower spine.
