We waited in the emergency area for 17hrs and still hasn't been seen, missed work and couldn't even get a paper stating we was there that long. I will never again use to hospital, they do not care for their patients one bit
If you have something serious and need care quick, just drive to Springfield or the lake. This place will make you wait 4+ hours every single time. Tried to go last night and left after an hour because there were several other people there that had been waiting over 6 hours and haven’t been seen by a doctor.
Had a family member go here, she was extremely sick, vomiting and dehydrated, couldn't keep any water down. She was stuck here waiting for over 3 hours, they did her blood work but never even gave her an IV while she waited even tho she was again, extremely dehydrated. They told us that the wait time was based off "priority" and all the rooms were filled, but we saw dozens of people leave the ER and most of the rooms were EMPTY! On May 2nd 2026 I went to er in severe pain around my ankle. I waited in lobby well over 2 hours. My room when I finally got one was filthy empty bags on the ground, and I could only hope that the poo stains were mine being drug over and over again! Hard to breathe in the ER waiting room from all the perfume. Automatic timer sprays perfume. It doesn't smell good, it's suffocating, and it is aggravating my sister's asthma. To me it makes no sense as patients to emergency rooms frequently have trouble breathing. We moved as far from it as possible and it's still suffocating.
