On May 2nd 2026 I went to er in severe pain around my ankle. I waited in lobby well over 2 hours. My room when I finally got one was filthy empty bags on the ground, and I could only hope that the poo stains were mine being drug over and over again! They were laughing and i didn't see my wife someone said i thought 99%sure say something about a stress test we need to get him pissed off. At first I was like, what? Hard to breathe in the ER waiting room from all the perfume. Automatic timer sprays perfume. It doesn't smell good, it's suffocating, and it is aggravating my sister's asthma. To me it makes no sense as patients to emergency rooms frequently have trouble breathing. We moved as far from it as possible and it's still suffocating.
I cannot brag enough about this emergency room. I live between springfield and Lebanon and refuse to go anywhere but here for emergencies now. Previously would take family members and friends to Springfield, but will now make the hour drive to Lebanon. They have saved not only my husband's life (a year ago) but this weekend they saved my neighbors life. Both had gone to Springfield emergency rooms and received mediocre care to the point of negligence, and when they arrived here they were immediately stabilized and given the ... read more
It was a long wait due to flu season, but we always get top notch care services at mercy.
We were seen immediately with zero hesitation. The staff were all gentle and kind. Dr Pappas was great and very empathetic with our situation. I’m very grateful especially since I didn’t know what to expect going in. People who complain need to understand triage. There are only so many staff and sometimes people are in significantly more life threatening situations than you may be.
