Dr. Travis Junge is by far one of the worst physicians I've seen, which is very unfortunate because Mercy is a great hospital. My visit started off with me being scheduled with the wrong provider. I'm in my mid-twenties and the scheduler made me an appointment with Dr. Junge however, he only sees patients over the age of 40 so that was the first strike. I have had nothing but positive experiences with doctors at Mercy — until today. The physician I saw, Dr Travis Junge, was condescending, dismissive, and cold from the moment he walked in. When I described my injury and told him I was in pain, he corrected me and told me I wasn’t. When I told him I was injured or hurt he kept insisting I wasn't injured and wasn't hurt since the xray of my hip didn’t show anything. Called for a new patient appointment , have seen all the doctors pain management , regular orthopedic doctors I need surgery , called today front desk said my pain wasn’t that urgent and as it may hurt they can’t see me until august I immediately cancelled my appointment as if my pain isn’t important to them now it won’t be during or after surgery .
DR. JUNG HAS NO BEDSIDE MANNER. NO COMPASION. HE WAS MORE WORRIED ABOUT HOW HIS HAIR LOOKED THAN THE PAIN I WAS IN FOR BOTH MY KNEES. I WENT THERE IN SEARCH FOR ANSWERS AND LEFT IN TEARS. YOU COULDNT PAY ME TO GO BACK TO HIM. -5 STARS
