It’s a great place to be when you are in need of medical help. Drs and nurses are excellent! A lot of people only know about Barnes and don’t know how great the Mercy Pratt Center doctors and staff are. I tell everyone to go to Mercy Pratt where you are treated like a person, not just a statistical number.
Very thankful for this cancer center and the medical professionals who practice there. Been a patient there for three years and have had family in care there for years before my own cancer journey. From Dr. Rodgers to the PT team (Sue, Kathleen, Megan and Eunice) - I'm still here because of them. Excellent care and compassion.
Provider Dr. Tu spoke to me about details/possible causes of my abnormal blood work as if I was a colleague, not a patient with no medical school training. She named a few different types of blood cells that had abnormal measurements, and I had to ask her what those specific ones do in my body, what could cause them to be off, etc. That is certainly information a doctor should provide without prompting.
