Do not come here. Unprofessional and highly disrespectful staff. If you want good quality care and respect from a health professional do your research and find a good OBGYN in the mercy network or go to other providers from hospitals. Highly don’t recommend Nurse Practitioner Amy P. The most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had with a medical office which is sad since I had been going here for years prior to the staff/doctor change done last year. And pretty certain asking someone across a waiting room about medical information is a HIPAA violation.
Very convenient that my poor report of how Nurse Practitioner Amy treated me during postpartum. I had terrible post partum anxiety and needed help, direction, something other than being told I didn't know what I was talking about, that I was crazy, and that post partly anxiety "only happens in the first few months" - and that since i already have a generalized anxiety disorder, it was just that, not postpartum anxiety. This was my first experience at a gynecologist office where I was listened to. Nurse Nicole & Doctor Amy were nothing less than exceptional. They listened to my concerns, came up with solutions, and helped me through my fear of labs/exams. In my eyes, both these ladies deserve some kind of reward for how caring they are in their profession where a lot of people are less-caring (from my past experiences elsewhere). If you’re looking for a trustworthy & compassionate gynecologist office, this is it!!
I heard really good things about Dr. Cunningham ! She was my sisters dr, and my sister loved her ! I recently found out I was expecting myself and excited I called this drs office on a monday. We leave our information for the pregnancy scheduler ! I get a call Wednesday and a black women ask to speak to my partner I tell ger my partner asked me to schedule the appointment for her.
