This will be my second review/update from my first review. I officially gave birth January 19th 2026 and my labor and delivery experience was wonderful. The nurses were great, Dr plowman delivered my baby girl and he was wonderful, joked around and had great bedside manner. The anesthesiologist was wonderful as well. My nurse Jennifer was amazing. All the other nurses and scrub techs were amazing as well. Over all best experience for a FTM 10 out of 10!
I am giving 5 stars based off my experience so far. I transferred to mercy from the Chickasaw nation, the nation wasn't doing proper things like urine tests, blood work due to having gastric bypass surgery, or even measuring my bump at visits. I got so tired of not being treated good and I came to mercy at 30 weeks, best decision I ever made. Wonderful environment! Always playing educational kids shows in the waiting area, doctors and staff are friendly, only issue I have had so far is rarely seeing my doctor due to her delivering babies almost every appointment I've had. They do try to accommodate with seeing another doctor or a nurse practitioner and are very apologetic for the circumstances. Disgustingly negligent, incredibly dismissive of legitimate urgent concerns... I wouldn't wish this standard of care on my worst enemy. My wife and I agree that we would rather risk loosing our child or bleed out and die than EVER go to Mercy Ardmore again. My wife was told by internal fetal medicine to go directly to labor and delivery for increasing abdominal pain with a complicated pregnancy.
