The beginning of a VERY regrettable experience...... my very first mammogram I was told that I have a mass on the right side, the left looked fine..... Perfect. So, the next day I was instructed to come in for another mammogram of the right breast and after that I was also given an ultrasound. Fine..... Was told to hold tight for ten mins, the doc will be in to explain the findings. No doctor showed up, only the ultrasound tech telling me that I would need another mammogram of the same breast in 6 months...... WHY!!?? No inf... read more
The actual mammogram (my 1st ever) was fine. However then they told me I have a "possible mass" in my right breast, but also somehow have to wait an entire month for a follow up (diagnostic) mammogram. I also never got a phone call regarding my results: they just released my test results through the portal and then a nurse sent me a 1-line message on late Saturday night that said basically: "You have a possible mass, call this number to schedule follow-up imaging." The staff there are very caring and compassionate.
Poor science practitioners. Untrustworthy methodologies.
So nice here. Always very sweet to my mom!!! Did not wait very long. Nice and calm in waiting area.
