Worst place to deliver had a baby 18 months ago here the nurses judged me the registration lady judged me as well. They called DHS on me. I'm pregnant again. Due October my obgyn is vaughn I love him but I do not want to deliver here again I dredd it so much I don't like the nurses and the registration lady I am stressed out about delivering here. I'm thinking of traveling to another hospital to deliver because the experience I had last time from here I honestly think the birthing center needs shut down or reformed

I wanna give this place a huge thank you and if I could id give more than 5 stars. I went in originally due to having high bp i was kinda nervous to what to expect but Dr Mendez was amazing he tells you things straight to your face no sugarcoating but answers any questions and makes you feel secure in his hands. I had the most wonderful experience DESPITE my unique circumstances. Originally, I went in to the midwifery center at the same hospital in my third trimester after moving back to Oklahoma from Texas around 30 weeks. Holly (my midwife) was amazing for the first and only visit I had with her. At 35 weeks and 1 day pregnant, I went to my routine growth scan at the MFM center in Norman, OK. Mercy screwed up our newborn screening by not filling out the bubbled form correctly and we had to go back to do it again. Then they sent another bill! I called every number I could find to get a refund, including the manager of the labor and delivery floor (who never called me back), and got absolutely nowhere. Don’t have your child at Mercy unless you want to get billed extra for their own incompetence.

I switched to Dr. Vaugh late into my pregnancy because I wanted a Tolac which the closest hospital to me did not support vbacs at all. My son was delivered and my nurse was the absolute BESTEVER!! Everyone was so supportive through my journey and we did it ♥️ would recommend Mercy to anyone and EVERYONE. Thank you mercy labor and delivery nurses and drs for the support you showed me throughout my journey.
