Stayed overnight while visiting the Alfred hospital where my partner was attending a procedure, pretty good price and very close to the hospital for convenience. Had trouble finding the place though as it had a different name, certainly wasn't called the Mecure Melbourne, was called the Oakes hotel Stkilda rd and the Naima hotel, confusing! Room was spacious and comfortable and the bed was huge, we had a small balcony but not a particularly good view. Not sure if the hotel is under new management but the stay this weekend was awful compared to previous stays. Used to be a good hotel. I'm a Gold Accor member and this is the worst i've experienced. Also dont believe the website - the restaurant is now only open for breakfast. Waited for 45 mins to find out they'd forgotten the order.
