Decent central location, but the rooms are very shabby and old fashioned, and ugly. The rooms also smell strongly of mould. The carpet is old and dusty.
A total rubbish experience. This place includes both Pullman and Mercure Hotel, and both are completely outdated and horrible. The rooms feel old, poorly maintained, and nowhere near the standard expected for the price. What made it even worse was the service. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional throughout the stay. Definitely one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.
Stayed for a couple of days during NRL Magic Round. Reception and concierge service was very good and quick for check-in and check-out despite the high influx of travelers that day/weekend. Economical stay and well situated near Queens street mall. Also just across the street from one of the bus stops for the shuttle service heading to Suncorp Stadium for the games therefore very convenient as well.
A bit of a tired old hotel. Needs serious work. Bar shuts earlier than advertised. Toilet seat in our room does not stay up.
