Mercolino’s: simply the best bread I have ever had, my Dad brought me there starting @ age 5, because it was the best bread he ever had!
The best bread I've ever had. I use their bread crumbs that they make from star bread for my baked stuffed clams.
A must stop when we go back for vacation. Can't wait.
We have bought star bread and rolls for our parties for decades. Tradition.. My Dad would buy star bread every Sunday after mass at Mt. Carmel and we would bring it to our Noni Zanetti and Nonnie Perella on our weekly visits. On holidays, traveling to relatives in Jersey and Baltimore, and to my brother in Florida we brought the famous Mercolino's star bread.
