Honesty, integrity and no unnecessary upselling. We take all of our vehicles to Jimmy and never to the dealer. If I could give 10 stars, I would.
I first met Jimmy when my 2014 Civic was at 120,000 miles. He test drive it and pretty much said new spark plugs in the forecast but not needed immediately. I was at the Honda dealer the other day and popped into the Parts dept and snagged 4 spark plugs and Jimmy installed them today in an hour for $100. The professionalism you get from him is hard to come by. He is the best and will tell you straight.
Several places mentioned to me to get my brakes changed on my Honda vehicle. Merck Automotive has been recommended by many people on Reddit. I gave them a call. Jimmy Sr. called me back. Instead of immediately proceeding with scheduling an appointment, he asked “why do I need to have my brakes changed”. I gave him the specs and what other places told me, he said you don’t need to get any of this done but he was still willing to see my car.
