Merchants and Farmers has THE WORST fraud detection I've ever seen. On two separate occasions in the last six months, my card has been frozen by shopping at my hometown Walmart. As soon as I finish paying off a loan I have with them, I'm finding a new bank. I've been with them for years, but this is unacceptable.
No longer going to bank here after 5 years of doing so. I have never had a problem cashing checks until today the rude teller informed me that my option was that I could get half in cash and the other half I had to put on my card and it would be available to me within two days. That makes no since and I’ve never heard that before in my years banking with Merchants and Farmers.
