Joan Rizzuto I have been bringing my dogs and cats to Dr. Carter since 1971. I now live in Jackson, NJ and still travel the distance to Mercerville. The care and compassion that Dr. Carter and his staff exhibit keeps me coming back. I know my pets are in good hands!
Baron family I have been going to MAH for over 15 years. I started seeing the Sr Dr. Carter and loved him. Then I had an emergency with a hamster (yes a hamster) and the young Dr. Carter took excellent care of him. He was very compassionate with the hamster and didn't treat me with any disrespect and didn't make me feel stupid for bringing in a hamster for a visit- which has turned me into a loyal customer of his since then. Happy with MAH and Dr. Stewart I take my puppy to MAH. We have seen Dr. Stewart several times for various shots, check-ups, etc. I'm very happy there. The staff is pleasant, informative and high spirited. I never feel rushed and really like Dr. Stewart, he usually kneels down on the floor to play with our dog a bit before he starts the exam. Puppy owner Dr. Carter II is terrific. Dr. Carter is a wonderful doctor and very knowledgeable. He is a bright young Vet with a charming manner.
Definitely worth a try I went to Mercerville Animal Hospital after my dog came down with a skin infection. The staff here has been in business for over 20 years and their caring of animals show in how they treated my dog. They also honor most animal insurance providers so this will not be a problem when it comes to payment. All in all I would definitely come here again.
Veterinarian that cares! i have been bringing my 3 cats and dog here for years. As a matter of fact i adopted one of my cats from them! They are always patient with us, we ask lots of questions! I am also VERY impressed with the fact this hospital paticipates in the trap and release program to spay and neuter cats. We love them! PROS: VERY caring CONS: sometimes very crowed!
Tried to make an apointment I am very disappointed with Mercerville animal hospital at this moment. I have been coming here with my pets since I was 5 years old (15 years). Now that I have had cats of my own I went to make an appointment for a Saturday and they said they have to book the earliest appointments first which is 8:20 am. I am 8 months pregnant and I have 2 cats. It is not likely that I will get there at 8:20am. I asked them for 10am and they said no. I also live 45 minutes away. Shelly A Lee I have been taking all my animals to MAH since 1982. I can not say enough on how caring and knowledgeable the Carter family and staff are. Their compassion is priceless.Always there for questions and concerns.I highly recommend this Vetinary Family to all pet owners.
