Since planting the first wine grapes in the Horse Heaven Hills back in 1972, the Mercer family has prided itself on growing a solid base of Cab Sauv. Over the years, we have learned that our rich soil and desert climate are beautifully suited for producing elegant tannin structures and enticing flavor profiles. I came here as part of the Harvest Host network and had a wonderful parking spot under a shady tree. Had two glasses of wine, their sauvignon blanc and a shiraz, both were delicious. Liz and her colleague were both charming and attentive. Try their almonds, absolutely outstanding and they have a nice patio outside with umbrellas
They have wonderful offerings from the best AVA in Washington at a great price. The tasting room folks are always wonderfully friendly and will help you find the best wine for your palate and what you're wanting to pair it with. They also have the best wine club in Washington.
Fantastic wines. Really enjoyed our visit. We came as a group of 50+ and they were very accommodating. Highly recommended. They have many wines not on the tasting menu. We bought several. They don't disappoint!
Really friendly and welcoming staff. Took us in the back to see the clay vessel were their viognier is made. Lovely grounds, great wine.
