Sept. 2018 My mother Betty Jo Thompson passed. She was born and raised in Rocky Gap. She lived in Columbus, Ohio when she passed. There was a full service for her in Ohio. We planned to have a viewing in VA as she would be laid to rest near my grand parents, her mom and dad. Mercer Funeral home transported her from Ohio to VA. Presented a beautiful viewing for her family and friends. They helped make a stressful time more tolerable. Thank you from her daughter and family.
