Fun and Adventure This is a great cave. They have a nice walking tour, plus more adventurous tours. I love the formations and the history is interesting. It's a great place to go with the family.
Underground Caves Who says you have to go to Carlsbad to see underground caves? Just a few minutes drive outside of Murphys, CA, are the Mercer Caverns discovered in 1885. They were originally used by a prehistoric indian tribe called the Yokuts as an undergound burial chamber. The tours last about 45 minutes and are always guided.
