Told me I was crazy and there was nothing wrong with my car on multiple counts when it was jumping into neutral on the highway, offered no help and gave me no other option but to sell the car at at least a 50k loss. Down the road I come to find out it’s a common issue with heaps of Mercedes with the same internals as mine and was a failing conductor plate in the transmission that should have been fixed under warranty, thanks Mercedes.
Very professional operation front of house, but simple things were overlooked in the workshop. Missing screws noted but not replaced, clock left at incorrect time, slow handover after car was completed and ready to go. Feedback delivered at the time.
A couple of weeks ago the lithium battery on my Mercedes EQA died. Quite a shock for a car which is just over 2 years old (and especially when petrol prices are rising and it’s great to have an electric car) ! I rang Mercedes Benz roadside assistance and they quickly arranged a flat bed tow to their service centre in Wollongong. Then the lovely Alison @ the service centre gave me a similar model loan car (petrol) and kept me regularly informed on their efforts to diagnose the problem.
